The remarkable journey of breath often remains untapped, as life experiences mold our internal environment and impact its rhythm. This is especially true in the presence of chronic stress or unresolved trauma, wherein energetic residues linger, creating discomfort and a painful reminder of past events.
Trauma, far-reaching in its origins, can result from diverse causes beyond traditional notions. Emotional neglect, bullying, heartbreak, crossing ones boundaries, and other experiences, often overlooked, can imprint minor or major trauma’s within.
Often we resort to numbing or distraction to evade uncomfortable emotions, disrupting the natural flow of breath. This disruption, accompanied by tension, creates an environment that sustains the residue of stress and trauma, which then gets stored in our body and autonomous nervous system.

I offer personalized, in-person stress & trauma release breathwork sessions in Brussels. The session involves an embodied check-in, a guided process using breath, movement, touch, sound, and meditation to connect with your body and start the release process, lasting around 90 minutes. This is followed by an integration phase for rest and reflection. Finally, we re-establish presence and discuss the experience, with optional personalized practices for ongoing support.
